DISCUSSION: As we turn the clocks back to March 8th, 2000, people across certain parts of northeastern Wisconsin, there was quite a history weather event that unfolded. On this particular day, a rare, out of season F-1 tornado struck the cities of Milwaukee, Cudahy, and St. Francis Wisconsin during the early evening hour. This tornado is the earliest on record for Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Despite the fact that this tornadic event occurred during the modern era, it is worth noting that this event definitely caught many people by surprise due to the rare nature of such an event in this region of the United States.
