DISCUSSION: With Election Day 2016 now well underway, many people have been asking what the weather will be like for the rest of Election Day and Election Night all across the contiguous United States. As you can fairly easily see in the image and brief forecast video above, there is a weak low pressure system currently moving through portions of the south-central United States. Therefore, as we move through both today and tonight, there will continue to be some light impacts from this lighter rainfall. Be sure to watch the national forecast briefing so you can maximize the rest of your election day plans, will know how to dress, and whether you will need an umbrella when you head out to the polls.
