DISCUSSION: As of this afternoon, a series of low-pressure systems are impacting both the Great Lakes region as well as the Northeast with snowfall and rainfall respectively! As the Alberta clipper system (weaker low-pressure system) continues to push east, expect to have travel delays both on the highways and at area airports due to windier and snowier conditions which will create lower visibilities and slick conditions on the roads across affected parts of the Midwest. Along parts of the I-95 corridor being impacted by the coastal low-pressure system, locally heavy rainfall will persist over the next few hours until the coastal low finally exits and pushes further northeast into the Canadian Maritimes before pushing out over the Western Atlantic Ocean.
