DISCUSSION: As a weak low-pressure makes its way towards the heart of the Mid-Atlantic region, a mixed-bag of precipitation is developing in the presence of colder air which is in place across most of Pennsylvania at this time with temperatures in the lower 30's across most of the state. This enabling the precipitation to falling mainly as heavier, wet snow and will remain that way through the course of the day! However, with warmer air in place further and it taking longer to cool down across New Jersey and Southeast New York, there will be less than one inch of snowfall. If those areas cool down faster than anticipated, a little more snowfall accumulation may be possible but is unlikely at this point in time.
