DISCUSSION: As strong storms rolled through earlier this evening, an impressive lightning show was on display for a while as intense convective storms moved through parts of the United Kingdom.  Note the classic structure of the stepped leaders branching off of the main electric channel of the primary lightning strikes seen in this brief thunderstorm footage!
