DISCUSSION: As of earlier this evening, a number of strong storms fired up across parts of Western Europe (including over in Northern France). As you can clearly see in the picture below, one particular storm went tornadic in Picardie, France (located in Northern France). Note the relatively low cloud-base associated with this particular supercell which likely helped to facilitate the development of what appeared to be a tornado!
