DISCUSSION: In the wake of a strong cold front recently passing through Southern Australia, an enhanced pressure gradient has helped to amplify the onshore flow in the wake of the associated cold front's passage.  As discussed in the post below, as this enhanced pressure gradient begins to back off the associated winds will be in the back off and the associated wave action will begin to weaken with time as well.  Nonetheless, some very impressive wave action for spectators and surfers along parts of Southern Victoria!
