A MUST-SEE! IMPRESSIVE HAIL FOOTAGE FROM BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA! (credit: Nikos Athanasiadis via Severe Weather Turkey)

DISCUSSION: As strong to severe thunderstorms made their way across Eastern Queensland earlier today, some storms such as this particular one caught in the brief severe storm footage linked below produced fairly large (even damaging) hail-stones while at or close to their maximum intensity! Note the very windy conditions accompanying the heavy hail falling; indicating the presence of strong downdrafts during the time in which the heaviest hail was falling out of the base of this storm.  Hopefully, people managed to take shelter and remain safe during the passage of these severe storms which occurred earlier today across Eastern Australia!
