DISCUSSION: Here is a simply awesome Total Precipitable Water (TPW) loop courtesy of the University of Wisconsin CIMSS MIMIC satellite division which clearly captures the profound tropical moisture belt coming up from the Western and Central Caribbean!

DISCUSSION: Here is absolutely awesome post courtesy of Meteorologist Ryan Maue (Weatherbell.com)!  Note the tremendously long axis of deep precipitable water coming up from the Caribbean in the first image as well as the size of the low pressure system!
