GREAT VIEW OF NORTHEAST SNOW COVER AFTER YESTERDAY'S EARLY-SPRING WINTER STORM! (credit: NWS Burlington, Vermont)
DISCUSSION: In the wake of the passing of a deepening (but weak) low-pressure system yesterday afternoon and evening, here is a view from space of the current snow cover all the way from Western New York to Eastern Massachusetts. Notice how you can see the slight variability in the snowfall depth (i.e., being more deep towards the higher-terrain of Northern New York and Western Massachusetts). Just a great satellite image courtesy of the NASA MODIS satellite imager!
