DISCUSSION: As a slow-moving low pressure system continues on its current path across parts of the greater north-central United States, there continues to be an ongoing threat for hazardous wintry weather across parts of Wisconsin as well as some surrounding areas. Included below is some text included with the graphic attached above courtesy of forecasters working at the National Weather Service office located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. If you need to travel out and about tomorrow, be sure to leave plenty of extra travel time to get where you need to go throughout the day tomorrow.
"A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will continue to spread across the area late this evening. Look for snow accumulations up to around 1”, a minor glazing of ice, and slippery stretches and/or snow covered roadways. Worst conditions across central WI, but hazardous road conditions anywhere wintry precip is occurring."
